Tyler's B-Day Party

We got together to celebrate Tyler turning 10 this past Sunday at our house. Thanks to everyone who came!

Cousins Anthany and Zachary
David talking to his brother and Dad about Pinewood derby cars. Boring...
Cute little Kadynce
She is walking now, just love that girl!
Tyler getting some real tools from Aunt Connie and Uncle Robert.
My Birthday cake. Yes I made that and it turned out "Super" cute! I was sad to cut into it. Oh well, it tasted mighty fine though

At the Races

So the results are from the race that Tyler's batmobile came in 3rd overall and Camron's Bumblee car got a bucket of goodies for the best looking car. Camrons car kept getting 3rd or 4th place. They ran all the cars a total of 8 times each. So the very last race the cub leader said to race it bakcwards to see if it helps. Well it did, and he came in 1st. But when you add up all the races altogether he didnt place. He was bummed, until he got best looking car.

Here is David racing his car/truck. After the little boys raced, the big boys raced after them with No Rules. Well David took advantage of that and made the fastest car there. He won 1st place for his cheater car. It was pretty funny seeing all the people shocked at how fast his car was. After 2 races though one of the mechanisms broke so it only ran half as fast but it still did good. I could not stop laughing, my husband is so smart.

Getting Ready To Race

David got off work from his other job to come home and get the cars ready to race on Friday night. The boys were super happy and me too that he could come to the event with us.

Happy Birthday to my Big Kid

I can't believe my boy turns 10 tomorrow. Double Digits that's just crazy I tell you, crazy! He is so good to our family and so blessed to have him apart of our lives. He always has a smile on his face, ALWAYS, which is what I love so much about him. He has really grown close with his daddy though. He will do anything for him without any hesitation at all. He is a big help around the house. Whenever I need his help lifting anything and David isnt around I will ask him to borrow his muscles. He will then come to me proudly and help me out. I love that boy so much and he is so so wonderful! We love you Tyler and Happy Birthday!!

I love this picture..Kristin reading to him with the book upside down, and if you look closely you can see Camron behind Tyler, just a new born.

Best buds so close in age, only 14 1/2 months apart.

Pinewood Derby Cars

The "Boys" have been working hard on their pinewood derby cars. Boys A.K.A. David, carved the cars. It was group effort between all of us painting them. The race is this Friday so I will post more about how they did. Tyler wanted the "Bat Mobile" and Camron wanted the "Bumble Bee" car from Transformers, the Camaro.

Strike

The kids and I went bowling at Fat Catz the other night. They had some coupons from school, so we went and it was their first time. I think Camron had the funnest time. He would run up to the land and throw the ball, it was so funny. Tyler kept throwing the ball up in the air and then the ball would pound on the floor, I couldn't help laughing. I tried to teach them how but it was there first time, so eventually they will get the hang of it if we go more. Kristin couldn't hold on to the ball tight enough so as soon as she was about to throw it down the lane, it would drop behind her. Another funny moment. We had bumpers of coarse so that helped. Camron won the first game with a high score of 86. Kristin won the second game with a whopping score of 110, Whoa Baby!.
