Unfortunate Accident

So here is my Dad as a result of a car accident. He and my sister were driving to Lowes to get a part. They were driving through an intersection when all fo a sudden, BAM, a car came through their red light and hit my Dad's truck. It caused to spin my dad and ended up into a light pole. The air bags deployed and they were wearing their seatbelts which saved their lives. My Dad immediately got out of the truck when it stopped to go see if Sheila was ok She is 5 months prego. After he came to her side and found out she was ok, he collapsed and the paramedics were there in minutes to help them. My sister had to go to Jordan Valley. My Dad was sent to IMC the new hospital on State street. My Mom called me to go check to see if Sheila was ok. So I drove over to see if she was. All she had was a nasty welt from the seatbelt, but other than that she was ok. So then I rushed over to see what was going on with my Dad. When I got there my Mom was in the waiting area. A couple of minutes passed and a doctor came to tell us about his condition. He said he was in a lot of pain, and waiting the results from the x-rays and cat scans. We went back there and I almost broke down. Just knowing that my Dad could have been taken away from our family is devasting to even think about. But he was fine because of the morohine in his body and still shaken from the whole thing. So now I will tell you about the other guy who hit my Dad. The firefighters had to use the jaws of life to get him out his car was so badly impaired. As was he when I saw his x-rays. His ER room was next to my Dad's so we could see everything. He pretty much broke every bone in his body. And they are waiting to get the results if he was drunk while driving. Anyways so we got the results from the x-rays and he just has a fracture in his left hip. Then he is bruised from the waist up. Back, neck, wrist, sternum. But he is thankfully alive. He was in the hospital for one night and then released the next day. He and my sister are still in a little bit of shock and disbelief that they even survived. The poor truck didn't. I love you Dad!!

The scene of the accident. The black pole is where my Dad's truck ended up.

Here are just a few random pictures of the kids. This day we were preparing to go get our family pictures taken with the Robinson's. So when we get them back from our photographer I will get them to you. We had them taken on the grounds of the Salt Lake Temple. I hope they turn out good. Hugs and Love.

Fun with paint

This past Thursday I painted the bathroom finally and thought it would only take a couple of hours or so. I found a good deal on paint called mistint, people that don't like how the color turned out and don't want it then it is sold at 75 % off or so. So I bought it and started painting. Needless to say I used the whole gallon, and had to go get some more the next day. I found a similar color and I only needed to paint once more and whala. I couldnt just paint it and be done I had to decorate it. So I went to Ross and found this awesome mirror for only 20 bucks. I am so proud of myself. Then went to Michaels and found a cute picture with the exact same frame as the mirrors and had to buy it. I was clearanced at 9 bucks originally 90. So again I need to pat myself on the back. So it turned out really nice. I love it

OUCH that hurts!

Tyler had a loose tooth and asked David to pull it out. He said he was brave enough and ready. So david tugged on it pretty hard and all it did was loosen it more. Then the tears started to fall. You know Tyler hasn't cried during any of his shots, or when the doctor put his arm back into place after fracturing it, but a loose tooth? I love you Tyler. Sometimes I forget that he is only 6. He's just a big kid. Anyways so after a couple more tugs it came out and all is well.

Tyler looking at the painful tooth now in his fingertips.

He gives me a smile now that the pain is over.

The Twogoods 60th

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!
My Grandparents cutting the cake to 60 years of marital bliss. I am so proud to have these two as my Grandparents. They are truly two beautiful people. I love them so much! David and I drove down to ElCentro CA to celebrate with them. It took about 13 hours to drive. We drove in one day. 2 hours until we got there we were driving in the dip area about 20 mile of them. As soon as we were off the dip area David had us pull over so he could heave. So when we drove back we drove really slow over them so we didn't feel any wavyness. It worked like a charm. We all had a good time despite the drive. The kids loved my Granparents pool it was hard to get them out of it. The night of the Anniversary party was a lot of fun. My kids sang a song, then Kristin and I sang a song, then it was my turn to sing a song. I was so dang nervous I don't know why I get that way. I wish I could of just shook it off but it was so hard with a bunch of eyes on me. My voice was so shakey. People came up to me afterwards and said I did a good job though. I think they were lying. It was a good vacation. We left early Friday to get there and got home late on Monday. It was quick but a good time visiting with my lovely family. I love them dearly! This is them when they were young I don't know what ages but aren't they divine. I think so my Grandmother is Beautiful and my Grandfather so Handsome. This is where Kristin gets her gorgeous hair from. Que Sera, sera means What wil be, will be. I think.
