Kristin's Day

My darling little girl got baptized Saturday Decmber 6th. David baptized and confirmed her. Elsy gave a talk, and Connie and my Mom played the piano. I want to thank everyone who came to witness her special day. Also thankyou Connie, my Mom and Elsy for participating in her program. Thanks to everyone who brought cookies too. After we got home, I was helping her get out of her dress and she told me, "I think I can feel the Holy Ghost in me." I told her that is good and I hope she can feel it all the time. I am so happy or her.

Festival of Trees

Kristin sings in her school choir and was invited to sing at the Festival of Trees at the South Town Expo center. They sang 6 songs and did very well. She said she was nervous but quickly forgot about how nervous she was once she started to sing. Afterwards we looked at all of the heavily decorated Christmas trees. They are so elaborate. I would never put that much work into a tree. Some people love to do that sort of thing. Everything there was for sale and donated to the Primary Childrens Hospital. Then the kids all sat on Santas lap, well my kids stood by him actually and told him what they wanted this year. It was a fun night. Thanks Mom for coming with me.

At the park

Kristin is getting baptized this Saturday. We went to Murray park to take these pictures of her in her dress. I am so proud of her and thrilled for her. She is growing up to be such a beautiful girl and I just love her so much. I can't believe we have come to this point of her life already. It amazes me how time does fly. I love you Kristin my gorgeous girl.

Kristin turns 8

So my little girl is growing up and becoming such a beautiful girl. We had a fun time at the church eating pizza and then having brownies and cupcakes. Kristin got some cute presents from everyone. Her favorite was a little stuffed puppy that her Grandma Robinson gave her. Kristin named her Twinkle because she had a star on her paw. Happy Birthday my gorgeous girl!!

Warning! Not for the faint at heart

So David called me today and told me that he cut his finger with his chop saw. He finished the job he was at and then called me from Park City to get the phone number for the instacare. So Here are the pictures as a result from a chop saw. It could have been a lot worse. Here he is smiling before going in to get it looked at.

Waiting for the nurse

Inspecting to see how many stitches will be needed. David said when the saw went through his finger that the blade "Twanged" as the result of hitting the bone. Ouch!!

Numbing the finger

Then they cleaned the finger

It's been about ten years so he had a tetanus shot too. David hates needles as you can tell.

Putting whatever skin was left into place.

Starting the stitches... Camron wanted to look but didn't

Then he wanted to see

Putting the final stitches in. About 8 or so.

All done.
