Respect + Tyler = Honor Roll

Tyler was nominated to be on the Honor Roll from his Teacher for showing great respect! Here are some pictures of the event. I am so proud of you Tyler, keep up the good work!!

Kristin's ear piercing

For Kristin's birthday present, she wanted her ears pierced. We took her to the mall where Sarah, Connie and family met us. On the way to the mall in the car she kept saying, "I don't know about this." I told her it would all be ok. So she put on her brave face and went along with it. Sarah held her hand so I could document the event. She loved getting the markings on her ears, but after the first hole, she didn't want anything to do with it anymore. She couldn't just have one hole, she knew she had to get the other one done too, in the end it was all over in 1 minute. I think her nerves got the better of her, she did well all in all. We love you Kristin and Happy Birthday!! Putting her happy face on

Marking the holes

Get ready for some pain

Oww Oww Owww that hurts

No more, no more

Ok fine just one more time, but that's it

This really stinks, maybe I should of waited to never do this.

Its over now I think I can smile now, well maybe.

OK I like them!

Kristin Turns 9

Happy Birthday to my gorgeous girl Kristin Haley Robinson!! 9 years ago I delivered you into this life. I have never written down the story of how you came into this world so here it is, to the best of my knowledge. A couple of days ago before you came I was already having some pretty painful contractions. I couldnt sleep and I was really tired. All of my pain was in my lower back. I assumed that is where your little head was pushing. So on the morning of the 9th I had gone to the hospital, the pain was pretty bad and I wasnt dialated that much, so they gave me a shot to sleep and told me to come back if my contractions get closer together. So I went home and immediately went to sleep for a couple of hours. I woke up and I felt more pain and my contractions were in fact closer together now. So I called David and told him I was going to go back to the hospital, he was in Toole working. Well I got to the hospital with my sister and my Dad. David eventually showed up and I was a little bit more calmed down as soon as he showed up. I had done many thing to try to take away the pain, but really nothing helped. There is no such thing as a focal point when giving birth. So I walked around, sat on a exercise ball, tryed many more things but nothing helped, just had to grit my teeth and bare the pain. My Mom showed up a couple hours into my labor and soon enough after many hours of pain I think 8 or so, you started on you way down. All of my family was in the room when you came, the doctors brought in the table which had blocked the door, so they couldnt leave the room, I really didn't care who was there, I just wanted you out! So I did give birth to you naturally, no drugs. So here you are a beautiful 6 lb. 7 oz. girl. Everyone in the room was emotional when you came. I was so happy that you were healthy and you were ok. I think you are the most gorgeous girl I have ever known, you have the most striking features and a cute personality. I will always love you my Kristin. Happy Birthday!! 1 month old

Halloween Day

We started off the day by going to "Curtains" at Hale Theater. Part of another Birthday present for me. It was a murder/mystery/comedy show. Thanks Mom and Dad, I had a lot of fun!! After which we went over to Elsy's house for lunch and to dress the kids up in their costumes for the night. We started over in our neighborhood then drove over to an area in which we had thought we would get more candy in a short amount of time because the houses were closer together. Well it turned out to be a bust, hardly anybody was home. So then we went back to our neighborhood more east though, in the ivory homes. That turned out to be better. One house we went to, they were barbequing hot dogs and making hot cocoa and cider for everyone who came by in their driveway. They also had a firepit going and Tv's going so you could watch the football game. It was so nice of them. It for sure warmed up my cold hands, and filled up my kids bellies. After that we went to Sarah's parents home where all of Davids family was at so the kids could play and release their sugar rush. It was a very fun Halloween!!

Halloween fun

After the kids got out at school on Friday, Robert, David's brother invited us to go trick-or-treating at his work with his family. They go around the office, where they have all of the employees put out candy on their desks. They also have a mini haunted house. The kids had fun and got plenty of candy. Thanks Robert for the invite. Kristin as a "sparkle witch"
